Dsciplr AI Content and Use Policy

Original Teaching. Faithful Adaptation. Accessible Discipleship.

Version: 1.0Effective date: 11 October 2026Policy owner: Dsciplr Content and AI Lead

1. Purpose and Original Sources

Dsciplr uses artificial intelligence (AI) to make Christian teaching, biblical resources and discipleship practices more accessible, structured and actionable.

Our learning resources draw on original materials developed by our team and ministry partners, including sermons, blogs, Bible study series, theological reflections and written teaching.

AI helps us adapt these resources to fit Dsciplr's discipleship pathways, study series and formation processes. This may involve editing, summarising, restructuring or reorganising existing material, as well as generating new discussion questions, reflections, practical exercises and learning activities.

Not every sentence presented within Dsciplr is reproduced verbatim from its original source. Some content is editorially adapted, while other elements are newly generated using original teaching as their foundation.

The use of AI does not mean the underlying teaching was created from scratch by AI. Equally, newly generated material is not automatically attributable to the original author.

Our guiding principle is to preserve the integrity of original teaching while using AI to make it more accessible and useful for discipleship.

2. Theological Integrity and Accuracy

Dsciplr uses AI to support discipleship, not to replace Scripture, responsible theological discernment or pastoral care.

AI-generated content can contain errors, omit context or misrepresent a source. Content must preserve the meaning and intent of its source and must not falsely attribute newly generated claims to an original author.

Dsciplr's Sermon Studio workflow includes administrator review, editing and approval of AI-generated outputs before publication. Other AI-assisted resources, including adapted study material, discussion questions and formation activities, do not necessarily undergo the same pre-publication review.

Errors identified through user feedback or subsequent review are assessed and corrected where appropriate. Users are encouraged to consult Scripture and referenced source materials and to report inaccuracies to info@dsciplr.com.

3. Sources, Ownership and Attribution

Original source documents are an important part of the Dsciplr learning experience. Relevant sermons, articles, teaching documents and other supporting resources are provided as references within associated pathways and study series where available.

Where adapted content draws on an identifiable source, Dsciplr identifies or references that source. Original documents enable users to explore the wider context and distinguish the foundational teaching from its adapted presentation.

Content supplied by ministry partners and other third parties remains subject to applicable ownership, permission and licensing arrangements. Bible translations and quotations must comply with relevant copyright, licensing and attribution requirements.

Adapting material using AI does not, by itself, establish ownership of the original work or grant permission to reproduce third-party content.

4. Ask D and Interactive AI

Ask D is Dsciplr's Scripture-contextual AI assistant, designed to help users explore biblical passages, engage with theological questions, navigate the platform and grow in Christian discipleship.

Ask D uses AI through Dsciplr's backend and is guided by a curated theological knowledge base and a defined set of theological convictions. These convictions reflect Dsciplr's Trinitarian, Christ-centred, Scripture-oriented and Pentecostal-charismatic approach to Christian formation, including its commitment to Spirit-empowered ministry, discipling community and Kingdom-oriented living.

Ask D is designed to engage Scripture seriously, considering its literary and historical context, original meaning and contemporary application. Its responses aim to combine theological rigour with pastoral warmth and practical relevance.

Ask D may draw on Dsciplr's curated theological resources alongside the underlying AI model's broader capabilities. Its responses are generated dynamically and should not be assumed to reproduce a specific source document or represent a direct quotation from an original author unless the source is identified and verified.

Although Ask D is designed to operate within Dsciplr's theological framework, AI-generated responses can contain errors, omit context or misrepresent Scripture or theological sources. Its responses should be evaluated in light of Scripture, appropriate theological discernment and the wider life of the Church.

Ask D supports Christian learning and discipleship but does not replace Scripture, responsible pastoral leadership, qualified professional advice or appropriate human judgement.

Ask D is not an emergency or crisis-response service. Anyone facing an immediate risk of harm should contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis-support service.

Questions or concerns about Ask D, including inaccurate responses or theological misrepresentations, can be directed to info@dsciplr.com.

5. Privacy and Data Handling

AI features may process information submitted by users, including questions, reflections and prayer-related content. The collection, storage, processing and sharing of that information are governed by Dsciplr's Privacy Policy.

Users should consult the Privacy Policy to understand how their information is handled before submitting sensitive personal content through AI-powered features.

For privacy-related questions, contact info@dsciplr.com.

AI service providers' data-processing arrangements, including whether submitted user content may be used for model training, are subject to the applicable provider terms and Dsciplr's actual technical configuration.

6. Transparency, Feedback and Governance

Dsciplr distinguishes original source material, adapted learning resources and dynamically generated AI responses. Source references and AI disclosures are provided within the product according to the type of content.

Users can report inaccurate content, misleading interpretations, attribution errors and other concerns by emailing info@dsciplr.com.

Reports are assessed and, where appropriate, addressed through the relevant content or technical process. User feedback contributes to the ongoing improvement of Dsciplr's content and AI systems.

This policy is maintained by the Dsciplr Content and AI Lead and reviewed periodically, as well as when material changes occur to the platform's AI features, content practices or data-handling arrangements.

Our Commitment

Dsciplr uses AI to help people engage more deeply and practically with Christian teaching. Original resources provide an important foundation; AI assists in adapting and extending their presentation; and theological integrity, transparency, appropriate attribution and responsible use remain central to our approach.
